He was predeceased by: his parents, Caryle Stanton and Geraldine Stanton (Saunders); and his brother Jim Watson. He is survived by: his sisters, Debbie Watson, Bonnie Didlot and Rose Pierce; his children, Elaine Blair, Angel Jarman and Carlyle Stanton III; and his grandchildren, Terry, Dakota, Tyler, Hailey, Abbey, Olivia, Chase, Trevor and Mary-Jane. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason-Woodard Chapel (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery (415 N St Louis Ave, Joplin, MO 64801).
