It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Celia Ann Sieglinger of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on August 13, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert B. Braeckel and Gladys A. Braeckel (DuPlantier); her husband Fred Sieglinger; and her siblings, Nancy Jeep and John Braeckel.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Sieglinger (Richard Huskey), Breck Sieglinger and Sara Freitas (Richard Freitas); her grandsons, Ethan Freitas (Danielle) and Nicholas Freitas (Abigail); her great grandchild A. J.; her grandchildren, Emily Freitas, Rebecca Freitas, Madeline Bukharin (Alexander) and Alex Sieglinger; her stepgrandson Briton Freitas (Savanah); and her daughter Brianna.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to be made to the Joplin Area Catholic Schools in care of Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary.
