He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Loretta Mae; his children, Lisa Cones and Darvin Peters Jr.; his grandchildren, Brittany Fichtner, Emily Peters and Chris Hathcock; and his great grandchildren, Mark Hathcock and Nevaeh Fichtner Darvin. He was also cherished by 12 siblings.
