David Garrison Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2025, at the age of 87, David Garrison (Joplin, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid David farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Wayne Garrison and Geneva Opal Garrison (Matteson); and his brothers, Steve and Ted Garrison. He is survived by: his wife Ying Chau "Candy" Garrison; his daughters, Michelle Garrison of Asheville, N. C., Ellen Garrison of Rohnert Park, CA and Leigh Garrison-Fletcher (Seth) of Croton; his grandchildren, Nia Hough of Croton, Rhys Hough of Croton and Sylvia Fletcher of Croton; his sister Diane Noel (John) of Indian Point, MO; and his mother-in-law Xiu L Ren of Joplin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
