David Linam Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of David Linam of Joplin, Missouri is shared. David, born on May 31, 1951, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyle "Cotton" Linam and Marcelle Linam; and his brother Bob Linam. He is survived by: his wife Diane Linam; his children, Kevin (Angela) and Kari; his grandchildren, Alyssa (Shae), Courtney (Jake), Brittany (Eric), Danielle, Kylee (Jayden), Morgan, Annie, Madison and Maddie; his great grandchildren, Gator, Abygail, Lyli, Darrel, Easton, Jaylyn, Tyler and Brooklyn; and his siblings, Steve Linam (Linda) and Janie Zeman. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parker Mortuary (1502 S Joplin Ave, Joplin, MO 64804). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the Ozark Cemetery (415 N St Louis Ave, Joplin, MO 64801).
