He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Spears and Galeta Spears (Haas). He is survived by: his wife Judith Spears; and his children, David Spears, Derek Spears (Mindy), Danielli Spears (Dave Tashner) and Kendra Deal (Ryan). He is also survived by four granddaughters and one grandson.
