She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Lowell and Norma Lowell (Henson); her husband James May; her siblings, Karen Lynn Hansen, Patricia Garcia, Ruth Marie Dupri, Betty Joan Burling, Donald Leroy Hanson, Ronald Dean Hanson, Gerald Hanson and Richard Harold Hanson; and her son Kris May.

She is survived by : her children, Jennifer May of Joplin, Kayla May of Joplin, Amelia Laurance of Springfield, Miranda May of Joplin and Annika May of Joplin; her siblings, Carol Hansen (Nick) of Lake, Diane Mordinoia of California, Larry Henson of California, Fred Henson of California and Robert Henson of California; her grandchildren, Odin and Amias; and her great grandchildren, Evie, Ciaran and Malkolm. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
