He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Stokes and Sylvia Stokes; his brother Sterling Coop; his former life partner Anita Betterton; his daughter Amy Miller; and his grandson Matthew Watkins.
He is survived by : his wife Sharon (Beaver); and his children, Donnita Ghramm (Lester), Michael Stokes (Traci), Regina Watkins, Bill Watkins, James Watkins (Christy), Chris Beaver and Kayla Beaver. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
