She was predeceased by: her parents, F. C. Whisler and Mariee; her siblings, C. E. Whisler, Willa Talbot, Elizabeth Boehm (Betty) and Irma Alice Williamson; and her son James L. Watson.
She is survived by: her former husband James K. Watson, Jr.; her daughters, Janice Pivonka (Tom), Cathy Beckfield and Elizabeth Bryant (Betty); her daughter-in-law Cynde Watson; her grandchildren, Melanie Deterding (Brian), Jason Beckfield, Andrew Beckfield (Kelly), Shawn Helie (Rob) and Jeff Pivonka (Thuy); her great grandchildren, Brady Deterding, Brock Deterding, Anslea Beckfield, Carson Beckfield, Ari Beckfield, Melody Beckfield, Johanna Helie, Vienna Helie and Whitley Pivonka; Doris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East Lawn Memorial Park (2401 E Liberty St, Mexico, MO 65265).
Memorials donations may be made to Spring River Christian Village in Joplin.
