She was predeceased by : her parents, Harvey John Moser and Ollie Della Moser (Ledford); her husband William C. Gillespie; and her daughters, Billye Dawn Coleman and Judy Mae Gillespie. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parker Mortuary Chapel - Joplin (1502 S Joplin Ave, Joplin, MO 64804). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
