Though Emmanuel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Emmanuel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmanuel Graves, Sr. and Tillie Bozarth Graves; his wife Karen Sue Johnson-Graves (Crane); his son Eddie Jo Johnson, Jr.; and his siblings, Richard Graves and Mary Ann Adams.
He is survived by: his siblings, John Graves, Ada Bell Schoeder, Marsha Gail Burns, America Vina Lawson and Julia Elsie Cheung; and his brother-in-law Bill Adams.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parker Mortuary Chapel (1502 S Joplin Ave, Joplin, MO 64804).
