Ernest Darby Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernest Darby in Joplin, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2025 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Ernest may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Casey Darby; his mother Sheryl Turnbull; his children, Davis Darby of Joplin, MO, Kian Darby of Massachusetts and Blakley Darby of Springfield, MO; his stepson Eli Ward; and his siblings, Dillon Hines, Johnny Hamilton and Kristee Hurd.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Bikers Against Child Abuse (AKA) B.A.C.A of Missouri.
