He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Bowman and Mary Bowman; his brother Donald; his sister-in-law Nancy Bowman; and his son Darin Bowman.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy Bowman; his daughters, Kellie Bowman (Cedric) and Laura Epler (Chad); his grandchildren, Matthew Beasley (Destiny) and Maria Beasley (Thomas); his sibling's children, Kathleen Robinson, Joseph Bowman and Theresa Wilson; and his pet Cocoa.
