He is survived by: his wife Jo Marie Starr; his children, Virgil McDonald of Joplin, J. J, Crystal Starr of Webb City, Shyla McDonald (Jennifer) of Joplin and Anna McDonald-Reece (Dylan) of Marceline, Missouri; his brothers, Larry McDonald of Garden City and Ted McDonald (Tina) of Ft. Worth, Texas; and his close friend Michelle Budd of Joplin.
