With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James A. Ridings of Joplin, Missouri, born in Cedar Vale, Kansas, who passed away on June 30, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy James leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Luciel. He is survived by: his children, Robin Hardin (Keith) of Joplin, MO, Ryan Ridings (Patricia) of Pittsburg, KS and Randy Ridings of Carthage, MO; his grandchildren, Laura Ridings of Pittsburg and Jahnee Presley of Carthage; and his sister Marcia Bacon of Talala, OK. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
