He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Sadler and Violet Sadler (Brown); his brothers, Frank, Earnest Jr. and Jerry; and his granddaughter Abby Sadler.

He is survived by: his children, Tony Sadler (Lynn), Travis Sadler (Melissa) and Niki Stripling (Daron); his wife Beverly Jean Oxford; and his grandchildren, Brittany, Trevor, Carson, Alex Sadler, Cody Sadler, McKinzy Ackerson, Nathan Stripling and Madison Pennington. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
