He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harland Dean and Elizabeth Jean Mabie; his wife Juanita Ventura-Mabie; his sister Rebecca Davis (Merrill) of Truman, MN; and his sons, Kevin Mabie (Rebecca) of Beloit, WI, Andrew Mabie and Jason Mabie of Rockford, IL.. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, as well as nephews, nieces, and cousins.
