Jane Hossfeld Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Jane Hossfeld of Joplin, Missouri is shared. Jane, born on August 28, 1955 in Topeka, Kansas, passed away on June 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Simpson and Gwendolyn Simpson (Allsbury); her husband Tom of Hiawatha; her siblings, Steve Simpson and Laura Weikel; and her sister-in-law Julie Patteson (Hossfeld).

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Paige, Miles, Megan Faulkner, Braxton and Brooklyn Browning; her daughters, Shelly Faulkner (Tanner) and Lindsey Browning (Scott); her brother Stuart Simpson (Karen); and her brothers-in-law, Don Hossfeld (Carol) and Allen Hossfeld. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many cousins.

In lieu of flowers, Jane suggested memorial donations can be made to Joplin Bright Futures or Watered Gardens.
