He was predeceased by : his parents, James F. Brizendine and Beulah Brizendine (Corbin); his wife Catherine Brizendine; and his siblings, Joe, Jim, Jean "Butch", Clara Mae Andrews, Vernie Arehart, Barbara Fry, Verba Lee Durbin and Norma Gallemore.

He is survived by : his daughters, Milli Andresen (Martin) of Manor and Carol Humbard of Joplin; and his sisters, Vicki Martin of Neosho and Beulah Stansberry of Joplin. He is also survived by four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
