He was predeceased by: his former wife Doris Jean McArthur; his wife Connie Elbert; his parents, Harry A. Caldwell and Lenora LaFon Caldwell; and his daughter Pamela J Pogson.
He is survived by: his son Jim Caldwell, Jr. (Audra) of Joplin; his grandchildren, Julie Andrews of Joplin, Jessica Andrews, Catherine Lewis (Andrew), Austin Andrews, Dylan Caldwell and Jonah Caldwell; and his great grandchildren, Vivienne Lewis, Christian Lewis, Howeah Caldwell and Isaac Lewis.
