With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Caldwell Sr. of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on October 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jim Caldwell Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Doris Jean McArthur; his wife Connie Elbert; and his parents, Harry A. Caldwell and Lenora LaFon Caldwell. He is survived by: his son Jim Caldwell, Jr. (Audra) of Joplin; his grandchildren, Julie Andrews of Joplin, Jessica Andrews, Catherine Lewis (Andrew), Austin Andrews, Dylan Caldwell and Jonah Caldwell; and his great grandchildren, Vivienne Lewis, Christian Lewis, Howeah Caldwell and Isaac Lewis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Christ's Community Church (2700 E 44th St, Joplin, MO 64804). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Christ's Community Discovery School in c/o of the mortuary.
