He is survived by: his wife Kathy Mahurin; his son Nathan; his daughter-in-law Lindsay; his grandsons, Matt and Jake; his brothers, Jack (Kathy) and Mark (Karen); his nephew Blake; his niece Tricia Hicks; his brother-in-law Gale Mahurin (Terry); his nephew Andrew Solomon; and his great-niece Sophia Solomon.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Joe Sandridge Memorial Scholarship Fund or to the Carl Junction American Legion Post 781 and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
