John S. Kewer Obituary
In loving memory of John S. Kewer of Joplin, Missouri, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who departed this world on May 12, 2026 at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kewer and Jean Kewer (Moll); his daughter Carrie Vanzant; his grandchildren, Macey Bean and Adelynn Everett; his son-in-law Jeremy Wilson; and his parents-in-law, Clifford and Norma McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Kewer (McCoy); his daughters, Amber Bean (John) and Jessica Everett (Chad); his grandchildren, Mariah Yeomans (Seth), Marissa Dudley (Zachary), Mariam Wilson, Isaac Wilson, Isaiah Bean, MaCarrie Bean, MaKinley Bean, Makaylee Bean, Kade and Valencia; his siblings, Steve Kewer and Jill Moore; and his son-in-law Don Vanzant.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hornet Pentecostal Holiness Church (6659 State Rte 43, Joplin, MO 64804). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bible Holiness Assembly of God (906 N Summit St, Neosho, MO 64850).
