He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Brazelton and Doris Brazelton; his son Scot Brazelton; his great grandchild Xander Cupp; his grandson Isaac Garrity; his sister Linda Kelly; and his nephew Shaun.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Brazelton of Joplin, Missouri; his children, Cherie Hawkins (Tom) of Monroe and Jon Brazelton II of Joplin, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Amber Cupp (Andy) of Monroe, Georgia, Dr. Jasmine Hawkins of Greenville, Jessica Evans (Chris) of St. George, Utah, Jon Brazelton III (Grace) of Joplin, Missouri, Isabella Brazelton of Joplin, Matthew Garrity, Cheyenne Devine and Hannah Fletchall; and his great grandchildren, Mikynna, Leah, Kayden, Kolton, Kylie and Rhett. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
