He was predeceased by: his wife Jacquelyn Leonardi; his parents, Joseph Leonardi and Marie Leonardi; and his siblings, Mickey Leonardi, Mark Leonardi, Phillip Leonardi and Cheryl Amador.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Nichols, Faith Kemper (Nick), Joseph Leonardi II and Giovanni Leonardi (Janea); his grandchildren, Amanda Gainuss, Joseph M. Leonardi, Antonio Leonardi, Jacquelyn DeStefano, Christiano Leonardi (Madison), Alyssia McLaughlin (Isaac), Vincentio Leonardi, Kylee Leonardi, Kinley Leonardi, Paulie Leonardi, Gianni Leonardi, Mekia Gainuss, Landon Hall, Ezekiel Gainuss, Laelyn May, Elaina McLaughlin and Beckham Leonardi; and his brother Paul Leonardi (Tina).
