She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clifford Barnes and Sydna Lee Barnes (West); her husband Donald L. Russell; her granddaughter Ashley Dawn Laney; and her sisters, Irene Haggard, Mary Lou Kissire and Ethel Lee Axen.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Burton Russell (Betty) of Florida and Marisa Jean Russell Brooks (Gordan) of Liberty, TX; her granddaughter Sammi Burks Morehead (Cory); and her brother Bill Barnes of Grants. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
