With sadness, we share the passing of Judith Petty (Joplin, Missouri). Judith, born on November 30, 1940 in Galena, Illinois, passed away on September 12, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Judith Petty to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Nolan and Juanita Havel Nolan; her husband Frank Petty; and her sister Joann Zane. She is survived by: her children, Steve Petty of Grove, Oklahoma, Frank Petty Jr. (Susan), Loretta Rolland (Jerry), Joe Purcell (Joan), Bob Purcell (Julie) and Dianna "Annie" Thompson (Jeff). She is also survived by 12 grandkids and just as many great grandkids.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parker Mortuary and Crematory (1502 S Joplin Ave, Joplin, MO 64804). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made to either Joplin Humane Society or Shriner's Children's Hospital in Judy's name.
