She was predeceased by: her parents, Oren Kenneth and Annie Francis Hammersley (Woodworth); her husbands, Cecil Nelums and Charles Searcy; her daughter-in-law Nancy Nelums; and her siblings, Joe Hammersley, Harlan Hammersley, Shirley Barrias, Nancy Duncan and Beverly Robinson.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Nelums of Joplin, MO and Kenneth Nelums of Joplin, MO; and her siblings, Frank Hammersley of Kellogg, ID, Jimmy Hammersley of Red Bluff, CA and Jackie Madden of Oroville, CA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Miami (1432 B St NW, Miami, OK 74354).
