He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Barrett and Agnes Barrett (McCormick); his wife Lorna Hale; his siblings, Marvin Barrett and Mary Neely (Wayne); his brothers-in-law, Calvin Morris and Edward Reynolds; his parents-in-law, Lonzo, Edith Hale, Alfred Hale, Gordon Hale, Juanita Jarrett, Alice Houser, Gary Hale and Bill Hale; Bettie Barrett.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy Ewell (Gus) of Loveland, Tim Barrett (Brenda) of Columbus, Chuck Barrett (Alicia) of Arkadelphia and Becky Knoll (Jim) of Kyle, Texas.; his siblings, Margie Morris of Cherryvale, Bill Barrett of Wichita, Janice Reynolds of Altamont, Jane Alumbaugh of Corpus Christi and Eva Hale of Tulsa; and his grandchildren, Lyndsie Baland, Amanda Cook, Brooke Quick, Chris Barrett, Kady Knight, Barnabas Barrett, Sarah Flowers, Zeb Barrett, Tyler Knoll, Alex Knoll and Vance Knoll. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in LeRoy's memory to Calvary Baptist Church of Columbus, in care of the mortuary.
