He is survived by : his wife Amanda Shallenburger (Mandy); his son Hunter Shallenburger of Diamond Missouri; his stepson Tyler Harris of Springfield Missouri; and his daughter Emilee Shallenburger of Diamond Missouri. He is also survived by three brothers, as well numerous friends, and extended family.

“I did not know Kenny for a long time, but the time I did is something I will always cherish. Kenny was my bus driver, he was always there when I needed someone to talk to, and he always made sure I was doing my best in school. Kenny had such a bright and empowering personality that traveled through a lot of people. I am extremely sorry for the family's loss.”
