He was predeceased by: his former wife Susan Fortuck; and his granddaughter Crystal. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Horine (Jeff) and Lori Fleming (William); his stepson Jack Cook; his grandchildren, Dustin Coppenbarger (Beth), Hillary Coppenbarger, Shane Horine (Jordan), Nicholas Horine (Brendan), Kiefer Fortuck (Hope), Amber Fleming (Kenny), Victoria Fleming and Jake Cook; and his brother Ralph Fortuck (Elin). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Parker Mortuary Chapel (1502 S Joplin Ave, Joplin, MO 64804). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
