She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Lewis Petty and Claudine Roepe Petty; her spouse Russell S. Brackman; and her son Joel Andrew Brackman. She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Jo Pate (Anthony) of Joplin and Stephanie Ann Brackman of High Point, NC; her grandchildren, Zachary Brackman, Maggie Routon (Chase), William Tennal, Alyssa Flores (Eric), Andrew Brackman and Emma Tennal; and her brothers, Dennis Petty (Susan) of Warsaw, MO and Randy Petty (Darlene) of Brighton, MO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Memorials are suggested to Hope City Church in Joplin or Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks in Springfield.
