Lois Sjorlund Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 4, 2026, at the age of 84, Lois Sjorlund of Joplin, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Restus Williams and Ruby Williams; her husband Herschel "Ray" Sjorlund; her daughter Peggy Sue Sandlin; and her siblings, Roland Williams, Hershel Williams, Donald Williams, Hazel Hudson, Wilma Jean Aubrey, Dorothy Dixon and Arnetta Dreilbilbis.

She is survived by: her son Jason Sjorlund (Tina) of Joplin; her stepsons, Bradley Sjorlund of Girard and Jason Sjorlund (Paula) of Garnett, Kansas; her sisters-in-law, Lou Ann Yarnell of Topeka and Ruby Griffiths of Derby, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Nathan Haws (Tierra), Kristin Sandlin, Shayla Woods (Davy), Kaci Sjorlund (Luz), Jese Sjorlund (Lauren), Callie Hinderliter (Jordan), Malachi Sjorlund (Lindsey) and Sydney Lynn Reynolds (Tyler). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
