She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Vogel and Irene Vogel (Nolde); her brother Mervin Vogel of Omaha, NE.; and her son Mike Edwards. She is survived by: her husband David Edwards; and her children, Don Vogel (Kathy) of Smyrna, GA, Jack Kitchingham, Jr. of Joplin, Cheryl Kitchingham of Joplin, Gerald Kitchingham (Victoria Ann) of Diamond, MO and Shelly Huffman of Carl Junction, MO. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parker Mortuary Chapel (1502 S Joplin Ave, Joplin, MO 64804). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
