We announce the death of Madison Michelle Macias of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 21. She was predeceased by: her great-grandparents, Patricia Mayberry, Helen Smith (Love), Adelaido, Francisca Macias (Vasquez), Jose and Maria Chavez.
She is survived by: her parents, Kristin Smith of Chanute, KS and Abel Macias (Brandi Gallagher) of Joplin, MO; her siblings, Austin Macias, Natalie Macias, Kylee Bennefeld, Halee Macias, Daulton Smith, Gavin Gallagher and Kierah Gordon; her grandparents, Baltasar, Elida Macias of Joplin, Chris, Theresa Smith of Pittsburg, Lori and Barry Seal of Girard, KS; and her pet Winston. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many other friends and family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Christ Point Church (1500 E 7th St, Galena, KS 66739).
