Marie Elizabeth Cox Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2025, at the age of 89, Marie Elizabeth Cox of Joplin, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleve F. Foster and Susie Mae Foster (Cunningham); her husband Bob; and her brothers, Cleo, Clancy, Ray, Robert and Carl Lee.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Arnce of Joplin; and her niece Christie Roberts (Barry). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; one step-daughter; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Parker Mortuary Chapel (1502 S Joplin Ave, Joplin, MO 64804). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made out to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
