She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Thomas and Leta Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Jim Ellefson; her children, Matt Armstrong (Whittney), Steven Armstrong and Victoria Armstrong (Christian); her former husband Mark Armstrong; her siblings, Carey Thomas, Ben Thomas and Michelle Chrisman; and her grandchildren, Fisher, Keegan, Fox and Siah. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
