She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Byram and Dorothy Ellis Byram; her son Stephen Crane; and her brother Clyde Byram. She is survived by: her husband David Putnam of Joplin, Missouri; her children, Calvin Churchwell (Becky) of Carl Junction, Missouri, Chris Churchwell (Christine) of Joplin, Missouri, Lori Alburty (John) of Joplin, Missouri and Jerri Daniels of Seneca, Missouri; her sister Beverly Stitt (Dennis) of Grand Junction, Colorado; her grandson Paul; her pet Tigger; Clarence Churchwell. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to either Joplin Association for the Blind or Joplin Humane Society, both in care of the mortuary.
