Maxine Lambeth Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Lambeth of Joplin, Missouri, born in Carthage, Missouri, who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Steven Lambeth; her parents, Delmar Wayne and Myrl Faye Castor (Smith); and her siblings, Vida Evelyn Arnold, Wayne Castor and Elvis Castor.
She is survived by: her son Bruce Lambeth (Margie) of Wentworth, MO; her grandchildren, Scott Lambeth (Crystal), Austin Lambeth (Julie), Traci Lambeth Stokes (Mike), Shelly LeMasters (Brent) and Angie Strong (Shannon); her daughter-in-law Linda Lambeth; her sister Lora Lee Sundy; and her sister-in-law Linda Castor. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home (211 N 9th St, Sarcoxie, MO 64862). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sarcoxie Cemetery.
