Minnie Owen Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 3, 2026, at the age of 96, Minnie Owen in Joplin, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank E. Howdeshell and Annie E. Askins Howdeshell; and her son William Edward Owen. She is survived by: her husband Harry W. Owen; her son Dale Owen (Fran) of Joplin; and her grandchildren, Shelly D. Williams (Scott), Steven D. Owen (Trina), Tyson E. Owen-Kubie (Meghan), James "Andy" Owen-Kubie, Ally Kubie, Zoe Purvis (Matthew) and Marike Bongers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to donor's choice of First Community Church of Joplin, Crosslines Ministries or Ronald McDonald House of the Four States.
