We are sad to announce that, on February 16, 2026, at the age of 97, Myrtle Decker of Joplin, Missouri, born in Waco, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McCorkle and Iona Foster-McCorkle; and her husband Bobby Decker. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Bobby Gould (Lanay) of Bentonville, AR and Bradly "Rhett" Gould (Tricia) of Joplin, MO.; her great grandchildren, Remington, Liam, Ava, Claire and Elise; her son-in-law Donald Gould (Shirley) of Joplin; her nieces, Freda King, Joyce Kersey and Iona Spencer; and her daughter Karen Gould.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Joplin Humane Society in care of the mortuary.
