She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Barron Jones and Della Mae Jones (Flippo); her husband James Roy Starkey; her son Christopher James Starkey; her brother Robert Dennis Jones; and her half-sister Marie Jones Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Starkey (Poppi) and Michele Starkey of Joplin; her sister Judy Waggoner of Little Rock; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Webb, Brittany Phillips, Tyler Starkey, Jessica Dietz and Hailey Tweedy. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.
