She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hosp, Sr. and Betty Hosp (Pryor); her husband Richard Stauffer; and her brother George Hosp, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, David Stauffer (Alex) of Joplin and Elizabeth Isenberger (Tucker) of Sarcoxie; her grandchildren, Natalie, Taylor, Archer and Lux; and her brother Bill Hosp (Melinda) of Carl Junction. She is also survived by several extended family and close friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parker Mortuary (1502 S Joplin Ave, Joplin, MO 64804). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Joplin Connecticut (4128 Connecticut Ave, Joplin, MO 64804).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the MSSU Athletics Department, in care of the mortuary.
