She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Lara; her brother Albert Lara; and her stepmother Constant Salazar. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Smith; her sister Rose Soto; her nieces, Janelle Lara and Jacqueline Soto; and her nephew Jacob Soto. She is also survived by 3 fur babies.
