Renee White Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Renee White (Joplin, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Renee farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Renee is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Chuck Pope and Alice Pope; her husband Michael of Holts Summit, MO; her children, Grace of Kansas City, MO and Austin of Verona, MO; and her stepchildren, Danielle Scott and Michael Johnson of Joplin, MO. She was also cherished by eight siblings and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Children's Haven – Joplin, the ALS Association, or the Renee White Groovy Social Work Scholarship at Missouri Southern State University and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
