He is survived by: his wife Joyce Stripling Walker; his children, Randy Walker (Annette) of Bainbridge Island, Lynne Walker and Cindy Walker of Joplin; his grandchildren, Zane Walker of Bainbridge Island and Cordelia Walker of Joplin; and his brother Russell Walker (Joy) of Joplin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Rex and Joyce Walker Endowed Scholarship Fund at Missouri Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri.
