He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Moss (Johannes) and Chester Moss; his sister Alyce Flaherty; and his half-siblings, Winston Moss, Mary Ellen Homeier and Wilda Reiersen (Candy).
He is survived by: his wife Margie Louise Moss; his children, Katherine DeGraff and Cole Moss; his son-in-law Brad DeGraff; his sister Linda Moss; and his grandsons, Bradshaw DeGraff and Richard DeGraff.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter's Church (812 S Pearl Ave, Joplin, MO 64801). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Visitaion Mason- Woodard (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Osborne Memorial Cemetery (3400 McClelland Blvd, Joplin, MO 64804).
