It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Raymond Kutz of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Kutz and Freda Kutz of Sarcoxie; his siblings, Don, Ken and Mary Ann; and his sisters-in-law, Dee Kutz and Betty Kutz.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Kutz of Ardmore, OK and Fred Kutz of Springdale, AR; his stepsons, Doug Brown of Fishers, IN and Jeff Brown (Donna) of Alton, MO; his brothers, Ben (Yvonne) of Columbia, MO, Jim (Ann) of Richmond, VA and Tom (Karla) of St. Louis, MO; his sister-in-law Linda Kutz of Brooklyn Park, MN; his grandchildren, Josie Kutz, Jenna Easter (Holt), Jack Kutz, Jordan Kutz (Logan), Chelsea McCoy (Alex), Boni Brown, Catherine Brown and Allie Brown; and his great grandchild Porter Gibson.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (3845 Lawrence 2235, Pierce City, MO 65723).
Memorials may be made, in Dick's memory, to Pierce City School Art Department.
