Robert Dorris Howell Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Dorris Howell (Joplin, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Robert Dorris departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert Dorris may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert Dorris leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Howell (Byrd) and James W Howell; and his siblings, Beth and James (Pam). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Howell (Ross); and his children, James, Caroline and Joshua (Jackie). He is also survived by granddaughters.
