Robert DuPont Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert DuPont Jr. of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. DuPont Sr. and Rosa DuPont (Shariff). He is survived by: his wife LaVerne DuPont (McClellan); his daughters, Erin Hance, Kelley Wheeler (Calvin) and Jessica Barrett (Matt); his grandchildren, Jeniffer, Tara, Stephani, Derek, Samantha, Brandon, Luis, Billy, Jennifer N., Rachel, Daniel and Chloe; and his sisters, Elaine Filip and Donna Bilodeau. He is also survived by 31 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mason-Woodard Chapel (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801).
