He is survived by: his children, Brian (Amber) and Jennifer Cogbill; his grandchildren, Misty DeFir (Clayton), Ryley Cogbill and Cade Cogbill; his great grandchildren, Taira and Winter; his sister Niela McKnight; and his brother-in-law Randy Shanks (Dana). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A reception was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Randy and Dana's Home.
